---

Given his proximity to the cliff’s edge, you might think the Fool is charmed by a harpy’s Luring Song, but it’s actually the beat of his own drum that has him so entranced. The Fool follows his heart unapologetically, trusting that he’s right where he should be (or at least that he’s on his way there). He wholeheartedly embraces the choices he’s made. While this free spirit is sometimes necessary to inspire adventurers to take that first step toward the unknown, it can get them into trouble, too. Following unrealistic dreams and taking unnecessary risks on the path to level 20 can result in some pretty perilous encounters. Despite the risk, the Fool steps confidently forward with youthful energy, no fear, and no inhibitions, like any 1st-level character should.
